"Soon You Will Rise" is a photo series about the intersections of femininity and identity, and the color pink.
The book itself is meant to have an editorial take and is paired with the poem "Phenomenal Woman" by Maya Angelou (©1987) to help reiterate and structure the story of being a woman and identifying as such and owning one's identity.
The photo book itself is dedicated to my best friend who modeled for the photos.
